Simulating blood flow
The Fluido is a product of The 37Company that warms blood and fluids in a fast, precise and safe way, using infrared. For the design of the product, Actiflow performed multiple CFD simulations.
Case details
The goal was to model the blood flow inside the product, and the heating of the blood and the system itself. For this a multi-region approach was used that incorperated fluids, gasses and solids.
Several iterations were performed with different system geometries in order to optimize the functional design of the Fluido.
