Ventilation system

Together with Brakel, Actiflow developed a labyrinth with a significant lower air resistance

Home > Projecten > Ventilation system

Brakel is a Dutch company specialized in rooftop ventilation systems. These systems are used in industrial or public environments, and their purpose is to extract air, smoke, and humidity from the building.

It is important that these systems let air out but no water in. Therefore, a labyrinth-like pathway is created to capture the rain. In terms of airflow, this is far from optimal. The labyrinth is a big obstruction that limits the airflow through the system.

Together with Brakel, we developed a labyrinth with a significant lower air resistance (higher aerodynamic value) than most of the systems in the market. This means more ventilation per square meter, leading to a cost reduction in material, production and installation.
